MARCH 20: Heart Quilt Unveiled! Joanne wanted to create a quilt for her barbershop chorus, Alberta Heartland Chorus. What better quilt than a heart quilt? Quilt Auction: Once again with the support of the Friends of the Morinville Public Library, QUIL is hoping to make quilts for silent auctions or raffles to be held throughout the year starting sometime in 2005. Time permitting, we might hold one quilt raffle in December 2004.

Want to help? Fabric scraps and other quilting supplies welcome. The beauty of quilting is that you can use fabric scraps and create wonderful quilts. 100% cotton fabrics work best but quilters will make use of just about any sort of fabric. If you have scraps of fabric and don't know what to do with them, QUIL will be more than happy to take them and make a quilt out of them. As well, we need thread, batting, and rotary cutters. With your help, we can create some warm and wonderful quilts and other items. Perhaps YOUR scraps will be part of the next quilt auction!
